For those interviewing for jobs/link party

So you've got a big interview coming up and you need to have all the right answers. Huh. So yeah, I think this may soon compete with google news. Navigate the universe.

Attention freeware geeks! I'm not speaking to anyone in particular but this is exciting: The 46 greatest downloads of all time rated by the number 1 geek of all time* Just for your info I downloaded #38(1) #37(2) #26(2); all good things. And a related site in a more organized fashion: hippo

Oh and maybe just one more thing I enjoy. I just downloaded the theme ifox for firefox and its rocking my world right now. Though it makes it seem like I have an apple, I don't. That's what makes it so amazingly ridicously funny sounding and crazy. But it is ridicously good looking, and let's be honest there really isn't anything more important than that. Please forgive me, I digress...

Also, enjoy the rose bowl
5 pm Pacific Wed.

PS. Also, remember to watch lost at 9 pm next Wednesday as they are returning to new episodes. If you havent even seen lost, dont worry you can catch up there are only about 34 episodes to watch. Hey, I've managed to watch all of them in 2 weeks, I'm sure you can do it in 1. Good luck to all.

This isn't a joke, jk, lol, ttyl. But this is.

*Surprisingly it's not me.

drugs;,#)><)_-

I didn't want to say too much too soon, but it would appear that my initial intuition has proven correct. Drugs are the key to success. Let me explain. Having caught the local bug for some cold throat headache bodyache thing, I was near bed ridden for 3 days prior to finals. Finding myself in quite the predicament and lacking the necessary time to study for finals I turned to my loyal friend: drugs. Having never failed me in the passed we entered into a quick partnership. Staying awake for 31 hours straight, the drugs allowed me to stay up and take the test as if I had studied for 3 days straight. Now I'm not advocating the use of drugs, but I'll tell ya what it really worked out for me, and I've got the passing grades to prove. I guess you could say my standards continue to slip steady away from me. Now I know what you must be thinking, this kid got into some hard core drugs. No, not really. Although I do hear some kids take cocaine prior to finals and study for like 3 days straight and retain everything. If my morals were different and I had loads of cash just sitting around I just might do that. But, given my circumstances and morals, I simply lurched into gray area rather than straight up black area. I took some caffiene fat burning pills or something recommended by a dear friend. So to sum up, miracles sometimes come in the form of a small pill.

Happy Holidays Peeps!

Amusing . . .

I think I may have been offended. Possibly amused.

Conspiracy Theory

Let the truth be known. How did the twin towers spontaneously crumble to the earth? How did it collapse perfectly on itself without causing damage to nearby buildings? How did a third building also fold on itself when nothing hit it?

A Professor at BYU investigates.

La Costa . . .

changes. discovering once again that my body is susceptable to the illnesses of the world, i have decided a major life change is in order. Sharing a room and living with 5 other slobs has gotten the best of me. I came down with sinusitus and the mumps. I was bed ridden for weeks.

Almost. I sniffled and coughed for about a week. I was very upset, and still am, which may confirm the opinion of some that I am an extremely angry person and that I have a problem. Regardless, I have put my contract for sale offering a free dinner.

There's something to be said for privacy and a place to call home, even if you do have to sell your soul to get it. As I've said before, "money's not an issue when it comes to my happiness." I'm never happier than when I'm spending other people's money. I laugh at anyone that says money can't buy happiness. And yes I am a snob.

i need my hat

despite my capability to be infinitely patient, my limits are about to be breached. i have lost my hat. i know not where it has wandered. and the worst part is is that someone has it and will not reveal its true location, nor will the possessor reveal his identity. i am at a loss for words. this is about more than a hat. it is a part of me. we have gone everywhere together, we have gone nowhere together . . . what can heal my broken heart?

let the truth be told

Please help.....

SEOUL, South Korea - A South Korean man who played computer games for 50 hours almost non-stop died of heart failure minutes after finishing his mammoth session in an Internet cafe, authorities said on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old man, identified only by his family name Lee, had been playing online battle simulation games at the cybercafe in the southeastern city of Taegu, police said.

"We presume the cause of death was heart failure stemming from exhaustion," a Taegu provincial police official said by telephone.

Lee had recently quit his job to spend more time playing games, the daily JoongAng Ilbo reported after interviewing former work colleagues and staff at the Internet cafe.

Despite this sad news there is a bright side. Apparently a woman who had been playing online against the man for the same period also resides in South Korea and goes by the alias, Dena. If anyone has any information concerning the whereabouts of this mysterious online phenom, the appropriate authorities should be contacted, IE., the Taegu provincial police.

This is not a joke.

OCD

Taking in the scenery at Smith Rock I can help but wonder what am I thinking? And this is what makes us human. Some say its OCD. I say shut up and stop thinking. Ahh. I apologize for the shadows which mask my brilliant tan. I'm not posting this picture because I'm into myself or anything I just want everyone to see I'm not butt-white, I am in fact almost black, especially in the shadows. Speaking of shadows, people look way better in shadows. Maybe instead of wearing make up self-conscious girls should flee from the sun and artificial light rather than seeking it and bask in the beauty which the dark provides. And I don't have OCD. PS. Beavers are human. If I could only be a beaver. If anyone knows how I can become one let me know. Posted by Picasa

Boone bends over in frustration after grounding out in what turned out to be his last at bat as a Mariner. In his last at bat he grounded out with the game tied with 2 men on in the eigth. The Mariners went on to lose 6-5 and their 7th in a row. Some shed tears of sorrow but mine were filled with joy. Bret Boone was officially released from the Mariners on Sunday. The Mariners were instantly filled with hope. Well, at least enough hope to win the game 2-1. Not surprisingly the Mariners won on Tuesday as well 6-0. Recently the Mariners had a strech where they won 12 out of 17 or so. During this stretch Boone had sat most of these games. He was benched to work on his mechanics. Then Boone came back. Thus began the 7 game skid, Boone was released and bam the team's back on track with 2 straight wins. All this is very ironic because I said not less than a week ago that the day the Mariners get rid of Boone is the day they become competetive. The M's have also been on a skid for the last 2 years, coinciding with Boone's 2 year slump. No coincidences here. Boone is gone, the M's can make the playoffs, I believe and so should you. The cancer is gone. I am very passionate on the subject as I'm sure you can tell. And I think this picture tells the story almost to well. It was time, and I am thrilled. Posted by Picasa
