Troy, you are right as this is the time of your life to make those decisions that will affect you for a very long time. We are proud of your efforts to find your new home. WE are proud that you have made strides in your social life. As the holiday season passes it would be wise to contiue to move ahead and progress as Jesus did.

comments like that above should not be posted annonymously. first of all, no one will ever know if you're serious or not and second of all, something like that had better only be serious. thirdly, if it is serious as if at all it should be, then there should be no problem attaching your identity to it. without a name it just creeps me out.

To address the comments posted by Jabba I will take a few minutes. Who is "jabba" to question my sincerity? My anonymous name is more of a truth as to my identity than your assumed screen name of Jabba. Now, if indeed your name really is jabba then I apologize, but the odds are that you are assuming that all the readers will think your name is Jabba-a complete lie. My use as an anonymous poster is not misleading or misrepresenting.
Troy, I have had a few weeks now to really contemplate your decision and I still feel that although lifes storms may come, I know you will do what is best for you.
In response to the annonymous poster: does anyone really think that "Jabba" is my name? secondly, everyone that is "authorized" to view this blog--blogger's friends and family--know who Jabba really is and where I live. lastly, it wasn't precisely the annonimity that freaked me out, but rather the weirdness of the comment. If you're a preacher of eastern religion, why not just state your biases from the beginning and your objective.

hmm...jabba huh? This name is so common in India. And as you may or may not know, there are more people online in India than all of the United States; thus, myy assumption would be that your name indeed was Jabba, simply because the odds that it really is are very high.
You surprised me with your assumption of me as a preacher of eastern philosophy. Your quick assumption of me lets me know that you indeed are American raised. An American named Jabba is quit rare.
I rather remain annoymous to this site instead of risking my identity to be stolen by an American.

In America, where I'm from, and where the only person named Jabba is a fat lizard-like creature from the movie trilogy "Star Wars," your above quoted comment is very likely to be construed as preaching. and from our perspective, Jerusalem is east of us, and that's how I came to my so called "assumption" that you are a preacher of Eastern religion--you were preaching eastern religion.
sorry about the name confusion. I would have never guessed in a million years that Jabba was a common name in india. for me it's just a psuedonym. my name is known by those who need to know.
Coming again to my first point, it kinda freaks us out that a complete stranger comes onto this blog and starts to say things like that to other complete strangers. you don't know the blogger and she/he doesn't know you. that's the freaky part, not so much the annonimity. but that doesn't make it bad. preach on and don't change. It's wonderful to have people of all lands convicted of their faith.
I think I know more about Troy than you would assume. Should I start by explaing how his sister ended up in Korea or how his trip back home has been(it's been a while for troy to be back in washington)? Your call on where you would like me to start explaing my relationship with troy.
You are correct on the point that much of what I have submitted does come from eastern influence(spent 11percent of my lifetime thus far living afar east).

just to resolve all confusion concerning this little quibble over the internet. i know both identities of the anonymous postee as well as the person who refers to himself as jabba. and just in case there are random people surfing the internet superhighway and accidently drift upon my little blog.....i encourage them to continue to float around.....the waters plenty warm.
